Corporate Barbecues & Wine Tasting, Barcelona:
Looking for a beautiful venue to have a casual and entertaining meal outside of Barcelona? We propose a wine tasting and barbecue for your group, in an atmospheric villa dating back to the 15th century. The village is Alella, a small beach town just north of Barcelona. This event can be tailored for the afternoon or evening. It can be an outdoor lunch and wine tasting in the garden, or a moonlight dinner with al fresco dining in spring and summer.
Your group will be collected by luxurious coach at your Barcelona hotel and transfer north to the quaint little town of Alella, just a short 20 minute drive from Barcelona. A bilingual guide will be on hand for you, to answer any questions and to point out the sights along the way . Upon arrival to the beautiful “Masia” (Catalan Villa), you will enjoy a sparkling aperitif. The villa is magnificent “hacienda” whose origins date back to the 15th century and whose gothic influence can still be seen in the elaborate window adornments. Award winning chef Ramon Molina heads the kitchen of this privately owned Masia, and provides the final “ingredient” to make your visit a magical experience.
Guests will enjoy a casual but lovely outdoor barbeque (weather permitting) on the spacious grounds. Included in the meal are appetizers such as mixed seafood on toast, octopus, and delicious cured ham and homemade ¨croquetas” They will also find a buffet of assorted salads and barbeque “solomillo” steak, lobster and cod skewers, and ¨butifarra” a local type of sausage. Finish your meal with a delicious treat from the buffet dessert table. Guests will enjoy an open bar with excellent red wines from La Rioja region, and white wines and cava from Alella. Guests are free to mingle and enjoy their peaceful surroundings. After dinner and drinks, guests will be transported by luxury coach back to their hotels in Barcelona
