Helicopters Over The Vines:
This exciting new Incentive Tour is for serious VIPs only! You will be collected by
Mercedes at your Barcelona hotel and driven to a helipad where moments
later you will be in the air, enroute to the fabulous wine region of Priorat,
home to the most expensive wines in Spain. After a short flight in your own
private piloted helicopter (with views of the sparkling Mediterranean sea and the
romantic mountains of Montserrat), you will land in the vines and be met by Carles
Pastrana, Spain's Bete-Noire of the wine world and owner of the mythical Clos de
l'Obac winery. Carles will join you for a dramatic flight right over the steep
terraces of his best vineyards, Miserere and Clos de l'Obac, with incredible panoramic
views from the air. Carles will explain the characteristics of the unique terroir
of the Priorat, the grape varietals, etc, as you fly over the vines. Final landing
will be in the gorgeous vineyards of his highly esteemed Priorat wine estate.
Upon arrival to the Clos de l'Obac winery, you'll be collected in the owners SUV,
where you will then begin your adventure "overland" and discover the vines first
hand. A VIP winery visit of the cellars will follow and a superb wine tasting of
the top wines will proceed your very special upcoming lunch. After tasting the
luscious, "meditational" wines of Clos de l'Obac, you'll be taken to the winery's
own restaurant in the village of Gratallops, where the famous chef will be
preparing a special winemakers meal just for you and your group.
