Barcelona Hot Air Balloon Excursion
This corporate event is something fun and different, perfect for small groups of VIP
clients or top sales staff, looking for a bit of adventure. The day begins when
you are collected bright and early by your private chauffeured Mercedes
(with an English speaking driver) or luxury minivan at your Barcelona hotel
and taken north to the breathtaking mountainous region of Vic, about 1 and a
half hour drive. Your pilot and support staff will be waiting for you and your
team can participate in setting up the balloon for take off, or you can just
sit back and take in the beautiful sunrise. If you have never had the chance to
fly in a hot air balloon, it is tremendous fun! Once up in the air, your pilot
Quim or Miquel will pop open a few bottles of top quality Catalan Champagne, called
"Cava" for you to make a toast to your company, while gliding over the dramatic valley
surrounding the village of Vic. Chin Chin! The journey will last about 2 hours and
you will fly as high or low as you like, dipping low to see the cathedral from 10
metres up or high above the mountains. This is an exhilarating event.
After the hot air balloon, your charming pilot, also a wine expert, will lead you on
a short and fascinating wine tasting (on terra firma), shall we say a pre-lunch aperitif.
You'll taste four wines of the best Catalonia has to offer, including wines from the Emporda,
Penedes and Montsant regions. Following the Catalan Wine Tasting, your host will escort you
to a superb Michelin starred lunch at the famous Can Jubany, in a neighboring pretty village.
Lunch will be a five course tasting menu, paired with wines, which will stretch over a few
leisurely hours.
After the gorgeous long lunch, you will be collected by your Mercedes and probably enjoy
a siesta on the drive back to Barcelona! This concludes your unique corporate excursion
from Barcelona. If your company is looking for a memorable event for adventure hungry
