Overview of Luxury Incentive Weekends in Madrid:
If your company is looking for an original continental city destination to bring your client or
execs to, for a VIP Incentive Gourmet Weekend, then we can create unique itineraries for you.
Rather than focusing on just one theme activity, we can create corporate weekends for your
VIPs that blend food, fun, wine tasting, tapas tours, excursions, sightseeing, and luxurious
hotels, but of course. Looking for ideas of a sample itinerary? Here is a sample luxury wine
weekend that we could organize for your company, taking place in the beautiful city of Madrid:
Day 1: Your group arrives to Madrid's Barajas airport and is transferred by luxury coach to the beautiful
5* Santo Mauro hotel in Madrid's leafy financial quarter (facilities include private historic
salons to have drinks or meetings, mosaique tiled indoor pool, small gym, lovely gardens and
terrace bar, hydromassage baths, etc). After checking in and getting comfortable, you'll
enjoy a cocktail on the terrace before carrying on to a superb welcome dinner in a private
wing of the palace, along with wonderful wine tasting presentation. An elegant 4-course
meal will be paired with famous wines presented by one of Spain's most famous sommeliers,
renowned for his "Golden Nose". This will be a dinner to remember!
Day 2: takes in a wine country excursion to Ribera del Duero, the home to such wines
as Vega Sicilia and Mauro.
Your luxury coach and bilingual guide will sweep you away to a famed cellar where you'll
have a private tour of the caves and winery, followed by wine tasting and a fabulous 3
course lunch with wine. On the way back to Madrid, you'll stop in the medieval town of
Penafiel on the way back, visiting the amazing 12th century perfectly preserved castle,
shaped like a battleship. The evening will take in some sightseeing of the old quarter of
Madrid followed by a dinner at a splendid restaurant built in the 1700's, located in an old
inn in the lovely Plaza Mayor, with ancient wood fired ovens. Traditional and elegant fare
and very atmospheric.
Day 3 will consist of a fascinating walking tour of Madrid's Bourbon quarter and then a
"Tapas Tour", Spanish bar hopping. The group will be guided through tiny, historic
bars, sipping wine and cerveza on the way while tasting a variety of delicious dishes,
informal and fun. The plan for the afternoon is free time to enjoy Madrid- relaxing at
the pool, shopping or sightseeing- probably followed by a siesta!. Dinner to follow at the
Teatriz, a converted theater housing one of Madrid's hottest restaurants, very chic. This
will conclude the gourmet weekend in Madrid for your execs, and we guarantee they will
leave with fabulous memories.
