Milan is also located very near to the lovely Franciacorta wine country and Lake Iseo, and is the perfect destination for a short corporate hospitality trip should you like to entertain your top clients and management.

The picturesque wine region of Franciacorta is a relative secret, virtually untouched by non Italian tourists, and is a fantastic destination for short corporate breaks as it is only a little over an hour from Milan. Franciacorta is famed for its bubbly, and the wines are considered to be on a par with the finest champagnes. The region is full of picturesque vineyards on rolling hills and medieval villages. Located in Lombardy, a wealthy region synonymous with gourmet cuisine, celebrity chefs and Michelin starred "ristoranti", food and wine are the protagonists on this weekend.

We have designed this itinerary for companies looking to pamper their most valued guests, and the focus of the tour is on wine tasting, fine dining and sumptuous accommodation in a five star wine spa (also a Relais & Chateaux). Over the next few days, your base will be at a wonderfully secluded luxury hotel, set in a fairy tale setting amid the vines. A gala welcome dinner at Two Michelin starred Gualtiero Marchesi´s restaurant is a major highlight. Your group will also be received at an immaculate small high-end winery, where a VIP wine tasting is on the menu, followed by a convivial lunch in a pretty vaulted dining room. There will be enough free time to enjoy the spa, walk in the vines and at the pretty Lake Iseo. This is a relaxing trip and the perfect way to wine and dine your best clients and staff. - Arrive to Milan airport. You will be met in arrivals by your personal logistics guide, who will be on hand for you all weekend. Head to the Franciacorta wine country!

- A wonderful lunch will be waiting for you at one of our favorite restaurants in wine country, and your guests will enjoy dishes such as Millefeuelle of Bresaola and ricotta cheese, Risotto with zucchini flowers, and “Tortino caldo di mele con gelato alla canella” (scrumptious Hot apple pie with cinnamon gelato). Wines will be specially selected and you will begin with bubbly of course, taste white and red wines from Franciacorta and finish with a smooth dessert wines such as the highly regarded Pinodisé from top cellar Contadi Castaldi.

- After lunch, head to the small pretty lake of Lago d´Iseo and you will enjoy free time to have a gelato, visit the boutiques, take a cruise on the lake, etc. In the late afternoon, you will check into your luxurious hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening on your own. A welcome gift will be waiting for all guests in their room along with a complimentary bottle of bubbly.

- Full breakfast at the beautiful Relais Chateaux- this is a leisurely affair, take your time!

- This morning, your first stop will be at one of the most beautiful wineries in the region, such as Il Mosnel. The winemaker and your host will greet you warmly and your group will enjoy a private tour of the wine estate. Begin with a short visit to the vineyards. A professional tour of the fermentation rooms, barrel cellars, etc will follow. The process of making sparkling wine is much more elaborate than still wines, and is fascinating. This winery makes sparkling, still white & red and even a dessert wine, so you will get a very informative visit. A full tasting of various wines will follow, all with personalized tasting sheets and your company logo.

- Lunch will follow in the captivating historic town of Bergamo. As dinner tonight is huge, lunch will be light and Mediterranean. After lunch, guests will enjoy some free time in this little known art city. Head back to the hotel in the afternoon.

- Enjoy free time on your own for a few hours before dinner. Try the treatments at the Spa Espace Vitalité such as hydrotherapy or therapeutic massage; take a digestive walk in the vineyards just outside the hotel; hire the hotel´s jaguar to go for a drive, relax in your elegant rooms, etc. Tonight we have a very special Gala dinner planned for you, an outstanding tasting menu at the 2 Michelin starred Marchesi restaurant. This is one of the best gastronomic experiences one can have in Italy!
