After check in, take the rest of the afternoon to relax, enjoy the rooftop terrace with a spectacular view of Barcelona skyline, or treat yourself to the wonderful Mayan spa onsite.
As the evening turns to night, prepare for an extraordinary dining experience. Tonight, you’ll be treated to an exclusive welcome dinner at Lasarte, a prestigious 3 Michelin-starred restaurant renowned for its culinary artistry. Here, you will enjoy a personalized tasting menu crafted by Cellar Tours to suit your unique tastes and dietary requirements. Delight your senses with an array of dishes, such as Foie Gras, Eel, and Caramelized Green Apple Mille-Feuille in Onion Crème Sauce; Carabinero Prawn bathed in Red Curry; Sole Fish served with Parsnip Puree, Saffron Foam, and Blood Orange Gel; and, for a risotto unlike any other, try the Citric Risotto topped with juicy Clams and Sea Urchin Roe.
After your exquisite dinner, savor a leisurely 15-minute stroll back to your hotel, enjoying the vibrant ambiance of Barcelona’s nightlife. The walk allows you to indulge in window shopping as you pass by some of the district’s most exclusive boutiques and galleries.
Day 2Barcelona- Penedès- Barcelona

Pares Balta wine making family
Enjoy a full breakfast in the gorgeous dining room with many exotic fruits, a veritable bakery of pastries, and many freshly squeezed juices and coffee. Discover the wines of Penedès today! This morning, your driver will take you south into the wine country, about a one-hour drive.
Your first visit will be to a high-end boutique wine estate such as the fantastic Agustí Torelló, where the renowned Kripta is made and bottled in its unique amphora shape. Explore their vineyards and learn about the indigenous grapes like Macabeo, Xarel.lo, and Parellada they cultivate. Then, enjoy a private and VIP tasting of their five top cavas, including their lively brut, gran reserva, and, as a special treat, the Kripta.
The second wine tour of today will be to one of our favorites, such as Parés Baltà, where an extraordinary visit awaits. A member of this passionate wine family will be waiting to lead you on a personal vineyard tour, an unforgettable experience; you will learn all about the organic viticulture they employ and the native Catalan grape varietals. The tasting is next, taking in a range of polished cavas, still whites, and reds, including their cult wine Absis. With such a superb tour and extraordinary wines, what more could one ask for?
Lunch will follow at the beautiful Mirador de les Caves, located in the town of Subirats and surrounded by lush natural scenery with views of the Montserrat Mountains. The décor is elegant rustic, which complements their gastronomic focus, and the barbecue perfectly; this isn’t any old barbecue, however, and the unique cooking system and specific coals are used to provide an authentic wood flavor.
The restaurant prides itself on its high-quality, locally sourced ingredients to craft a captivating menu. Highlights include Sevillian-style Squid; Roasted Local Duck adorned with Plums and Pinenuts; Char-Grilled Vegetables accompanied by a robust Romesco Sauce; Oxtail luxuriously Stewed in Fine Red Wine; Classic Catalan Cannelloni enveloped in a Mushroom Bechamel and crowned with Parmesan; and Traditional Beef Fricandó complemented by earthy Mushrooms. Elevating the culinary experience, the kitchen employs a specialized barbecue system that fuses the capabilities of a grill and an oven. This innovation enables high-temperature cooking while infusing dishes with an authentic wood-fired flavor and unparalleled textures. Complement your meal with curated selections from local Penedès wines for a truly memorable dining experience.
Finally, return to Barcelona for a free evening, relax, and enjoy dinner at the hotel rooftop garden restaurant. If you are feeling more adventurous, check out your personalized Cellar Tours Keepsake for suggested nearby restaurants and eateries.
Day 3Barcelona

Santa Maria del Mar, Barcelona
Enjoy a leisurely morning at your hotel after breakfast. Take some time to relax in the Spa, with a treatment or two. Or Explore the Eixample district’s many fine boutiques and galleries. Your driver will collect you from the hotel lobby in the early afternoon and transfer you to Barcelona’s old town for a lunchtime epicurean adventure.
For lunch, you’ll rendezvous with a local gastronomic expert who will guide you on a ‘Tapas Tour’ in Barcelona’s enchanting Barri Gòtic district. As you stroll from one tapas bar to the next, you’ll savor delectable bite-sized delicacies, and your guide will enrich the experience with intriguing historical and culinary anecdotes about the area and its foods.
As your tour concludes, we have one more culinary gem in store for you—a curated wine and cheese pairing session at an esteemed local cheese merchant. There, you’ll delight in some of Spain’s most celebrated cheeses, including Cabrales, Gamoneu, Manchego, Idiazábal, and Tetilla, each expertly paired with a selection of Spain’s finest wines.
After this culinary journey, your driver will collect you at a pre-arranged location and take you on a scenic tour of Barcelona, including the best Gaudi mansions, the gorgeous Parc Guell, and Sagrada Familia. If you are an art lover, you will have free time to visit the Picasso Museum and the Miro Museum.
Hopefully, you will have worked up an appetite because tonight’s dinner is at Moments in the Mandarin Oriental. Here, you will discover one of Barcelona’s most exceptional gastronomic experiences. Chef Carme Ruscalleda oversees the creative, fresh, healthy cuisine inspired by Catalan culinary culture. Moments proudly has two of the seven Michelin stars that Ruscalleda has won for her restaurants in Spain and Tokyo. A real treat!
Day 4Barcelona

Adios y Buen Viaje
In the late morning, after breakfast, your chauffeur will transfer you to Barcelona airport or your next port of call. This concludes your luxury tour of Barcelona. You will go back with great memories and even better pictures! We can’t wait to welcome you back on your next gastro adventures.
Penedès is the most comfortable private wine route from Barcelona, while Priorat works best as a slower fine-wine journey. A complete Catalonia itinerary can combine Barcelona, sparkling wine country, Priorat reds, regional dining, cultural touring, and handpicked hotels.
Every Cellar Tours itinerary is designed around your dates, pace, wine interests, dining preferences, hotel style, and preferred level of guiding.

Our Barcelona Wine Tours experience with Cellar Tours was tremendous.
Our weekend was to entertain our most important clients and we booked with the Cellar Tours team at the last minute. They coordinated a wonderful day for us visiting Pares Balta and Jean Leon with an amazingly lively and eloquent guide, as well as an amazing lunch at Cal Xim. Our clients were hugely impressed. To anyone considering using Cellar Tours, I would give my highest recommendation for their professionalism, obviously rich knowledge of the Penedes wine region and friendliness. One of the best days out I have ever had.
Yes. Penedès is the easiest private wine route from Barcelona, while Priorat is best planned as a longer fine-wine journey. Catalonia itineraries can combine Barcelona, Penedès, Priorat, dining, cultural touring, and handpicked hotels.
Penedès is usually the best first private wine tour from Barcelona because it offers beautiful countryside, Cava and Corpinnat producers, relaxed logistics, and excellent Catalan gastronomy.
Priorat can be arranged from Barcelona, but it is best as part of a slower multi-day itinerary for guests focused on dramatic landscapes, old vines, slate soils, and serious red wines.
Yes. Cellar Tours designs private, tailor-made itineraries with chauffeured transfers, selected winery appointments, regional dining, expert guides, and luxury hotels where required.
Our regional guides offer deeper background on the places, wines, classifications, and local food traditions behind our private tours.
