Vinas Del Vero Winery Guide

Winery Overview

Welcome to Vinas del Vero, a beautiful winery in the Northeast of Spain. Since its establishment in 1986, Vinas del Vero has emerged as a true gem in the Somontano region, renowned for its captivating selection of wines. With a focus on crafting exceptional Chardonnays and “Vinos de Autor” (boutique designer wines), the winery has garnered acclaim on the global stage.

Situated close to the Pyrenees Mountains and the meandering river Vero, the estate benefits from a remarkable terroir that nurtures the cultivation of exquisite grapes and spans an impressive 550 hectares.

The winery boasts a unique vertical layout stretching over 12 meters in height, and the grapes begin on their transformative journey here. First, starting from the top, they undergo careful selection. Then, they are gracefully transported downward, driven by gravity to start the maceration and fermentation processes, ensuring the creation of wines of unparalleled quality.

In 2003, the 2001 Chardonnay collection received the best ratings in Enoforum. In 2002 they received Winery of the Year in Guide to Gourmet Wines. And within the winery’s portfolio, you will discover the prestigious up-and-coming brands, Secastilla and Blecua, with the latter being the most exclusive and luxurious, produced in limited quantities. Within the Vinas del Vero range, you will discover remarkable value wines offering an extraordinary combination of affordability and excellence.
