Recommended Wineries in Spain
Spanish Winery Guide
Explore Spain’s wineries, region by region
Spain’s wine estates range from the traditional bodegas of Rioja and Jerez to the steep hillside cellars of Priorat and family-owned properties in Ribera del Duero, Galicia, and Catalonia. Arranged by region, our winery guides explore each estate’s history, vineyards, wines, and individual character. Our selection draws on more than two decades of planning private wine journeys in Spain and reflects estates distinguished by their wines, history, setting, or the quality of the visitor experience.
Many of the leading bodegas receive visitors by appointment only, while others are rarely open to the public. Cellar Tours can recommend the most rewarding estates, arrange private visits where possible, and handle chauffeured transport, expert guides, hotels, and restaurant reservations as part of a tailor-made vacation through Spain’s wine regions.
